We don’t control time. We would like to, but we can’t. Every 24 hours a day is gone. And time doesn’t care of what we do or don’t do. Whatever we achieve, or fail to achieve, time goes ahead until another day is gone. As Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: “Finish every day and be done with it. (…) tomorrow is a new day; (…) This new day is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
