"Be a life long or short, its completeness depends on what it was lived for." — David Starr Jordan, ichthyologist.
What am I living for?
Such an important question.
Sometimes, I wonder if a life spent seeking the answer to that question would be well spent.
I also wonder if any other living species on the planet is troubled by this question. Does my dog spend any energy thinking about what she is living for? And that tree standing by the river?
I guess not.
Maybe, like that tree and my dog, I should ponder less on the question and let my life be the answer.
