"Though we may be tiny sparks in the night sky, our light can illuminate the path of countless souls." —Tara Brach.
I found these words from Tara Brach a few days ago. Since then, they have been working in my mind. It happens so often. I come across tiny sparks of inspiration everywhere. Usually, I don't know what to do with them, but I see their light and bring it with me. Until, one day, that tiny spark will show me the way.
It's like Tara Brach said.
The things we do, write, or say may be nothing more than tiny sparks in a very crowded night sky. Yet, someone, somehow, may come across that little spark and use it to find their way.
To me, it's a beautiful reminder that everything we do, write, or say matters in ways we can't even conceive. It's like the light of a star reaching someone millions of years and miles far away to show them the path.
So, don't hold back your light only because it looks tiny or even insignificant to you. There's someone like me, somewhere, waiting for that tiny spark to guide him on his way home.
And let's help each other shine by acknowledging our lights. Notice the sparks around you today - in a conversation, a book, a smile from a stranger. Then, let your own light glow a little brighter, knowing that somewhere, someone might be using your spark to find their way home.
