I read a quote from Gandhi this morning, "There is no way to peace; there is only peace."
It just appeared randomly on the app I use to focus. It's a famous quote from Gandhi. I kind of dismissed it quickly because I wanted to write about personal transformation and the journey to innovate oneself.
But then, while my mind wandered without grasping any idea or concept, that quote came back with slightly different words.
"There is no way to you; there is only you."
I started reflecting on how much time and energy I spend plotting the journey to become who I am.
Almost forgetting that I am.
Already.
There is no way to me; there is me.
I am the way.
It is a reminder that all I need is already here.
I should think less about the best way to become who I want and just be that person.
Right here and now.
