This morning, I woke up with a bit of a crazy thought.
If you want something done, what would you do?
You would ask someone you know or trust can do it.
It sounds reasonable, right?
It is what I would do, at least.
So, here's the crazy thought.
What if the universe does the same?
What if, when the universe wants something done, it asks someone who it knows and trusts can pull it off?
The universe knows all of us very well. We are part of it.
So, I'd trust that it knows very well who to ask.
This is to say that the universe must genuinely trust me and my ability to pull off what I've been asked to do. Otherwise, the universe, with its infinite wisdom, would have picked someone else more apt for the task.
Yet, the universe wants me.
That doesn't mean things are or will be easy. Finding out how to pull off what I've been asked is still up to me. And it may be pretty challenging. I may have to learn new stuff and push myself. And someday, I doubt my own ability to make it through.
But who am I to question the universe's wisdom?
Instead, I am grateful for the universe's trust.
Does it make any sense?
