The Missing Dot
#2089
I was talking with a friend a few days ago. A casual conversation, just talking about how things are going. What’s working and what’s not.
And I had that feeling that I’m close. That I’m just one piece away from making it work.
You know that feeling of “if I could find the missing dot, then everything will make sense, everything will be fine”?
That feeling. The one that keeps me searching, asking, turning corners, lifting stones.
Because it must be out there, somewhere.
That missing, elusive dot.
Will the next dot actually make everything fine?
It most probably won’t.
Like all the dots before.
Yet I need to believe it.
