The Mirror
#2094
A student told me he prefers processing life through AI because people are judgmental.
My first reaction was judgment. Another young person avoiding the friction of real conversation, hiding in the safe space of a chat.
So, this morning I woke up determined to write a post about it.
And then, while I was writing this, it hit me.
I do the same thing. Not with AI, but with writing. Emails instead of phone calls. Messages instead of difficult conversations. Posts instead of face-to-face admissions.
Different medium, same avoidance.
Hearing it from someone else made me see it more clearly. The judgment I felt was a mirror.
AI can help you think better. I believe that. But if you want to grow as a human being, you have to face the mirror that is another human being.
