Space is fundamental.
Ideas need space to emerge.
Plants need space to grow.
Relationships need space to develop.
People need space to thrive.
The most successful people and projects have built the habit of looking for new space. They don't focus on what is happening; they focus on the space where something new or different can happen. They look for gaps, cracks and openings. They seek new spaces around them and within them.
The best chess players constantly scan empty squares between strategic pieces because those are the places where pieces can move to attack or defend. Expert soccer players observe the movements of players who do not have the ball but could receive it via a pass. They all look for empty space.
If you want something new or different in your life, you must find, create and claim the space for it.
The beautiful news is that space can be found everywhere, particularly between things, beliefs, ideas, stories, moments, and people.
That is what I do with my coaching. Together, we look for cracks and gaps in your stories and beliefs to make space for the new to emerge.
