To bring into harmony, but also to make aware or responsive.
That is what we do when we attune something.
That is why I start every day with my self-attunement practices.
I bring myself into harmony, preparing myself to live the day ahead with integrity and authenticity. I make myself more aware, so I won't be reacting but responding to whatever will happen.
Self-attunement is the most important ritual of my day. It is the single ritual that helps me stay rooted in my principles and true to myself and my vision. It's how I prime myself for what's ahead.
It is also a way to tune into my mind, heart and body. It helps me activate vitality in my body, something essential to infuse energy into my mission. It helps me purify my emotions so I can better relate with others. And finally, through this writing practice, I create clarity in my mind.
Physical vitality, emotional hygiene and mental clarity are the pillars of a meaningful day.
