Forms - or configurations, as I like to call them - are essential. It is how everything manifests its potential in the world.
My body, story, character, skills, beliefs, and relationships are all part of my unique configuration. It is what makes me different from anyone and anything else in the world.
Every configuration is different—mine from yours, and from everyone and everything else's.
I do my best to take good care of my configuration because I am no more in this world without it. However, I am more than my configuration.
As Nobel Prize-winning physicist Max Planck said, we must - "regard matter as derivative from consciousness."
So, it's not our configuration that has consciousness. It's the other way round. We all are consciousness having a human experience.
When we focus only on our configuration, two things happen. First, we can see only the differences, unable to realize that we are one. Second, our primary goal becomes to preserve our configuration. We operate from a self-preservation mindset from which everything is a threat, hindering our creativity.
You are not just your configuration.
You are way more than that.
Recognizing this is the first step to unleashing your creative potential.
