One Apple A Day #384
“I need to tune in and get out to clear my energy” — from Be The Change cards
When I read this sentence on the card, a few days ago, I started reflecting on the difference between listening and tuning in with the environment.
When you listen to something or someone, you pay attention to that thing or that person.
Your focus is on the source.
And that source may be yourself.
When you tune in, you associate yourself with your surroundings. With something or someone.
You create a connection, so the result is harmonic.
To tune in, you have to listen and then go beyond it.
The image that comes to my mind is the one of an orchestra, with all the different musicians and their instruments.
To create the needed harmony, each one of them must tune in with all the other instruments in the ensemble.
Not only at the beginning but for the whole execution, they must be sure they are tuned in with the other instruments.
Though, the focus of each musician is on her instrument.
She is listening at the same time to herself and to the whole.
When you tune in with the universe, you are able to listen to your music and to the music of the whole at the same time.
You become one with the whole.
This is what I want to learn.
To tune in with the universe and be in harmony with the whole.
