One Apple A Day #380
It has been a while since I wrote the last “daily apple”.
And I missed it a lot.
This 15 minutes of writing in my morning routine are essential to keep me grounded. They anchor me to my purpose and to my values.
Curiously, it is not what I write.
I may write about the silliest thing in the world or share an incredible breakthrough. It’s not essential as long as I write.
It is in the act of writing that I find the anchor that I need.
Moving my fingers on the keyboard and watching the words emerge, one letter after the other.
That’s it.
Being back to my morning ritual is fantastic.
I must admit that I was worried and full of doubts.
“Will I be able to restart after 20 days?”
“Will it’s power still be there after all this time?”
This morning, when I open the editor and I started writing it was all there.
The excitement and the fear of the blank sheet.
And then the words started to flow before my eyes.
And the more I write, the more it comes back.
That energy that has been my morning companion for the last 18 months.
I am back.
I am back from a fantastic adventure.
And maybe next days I’ll use all the memories in my heart to inspire some new apples.
I believe everyone should have a morning ritual or practice.
Something simple that can fit seamlessly into the morning.
Something that can be done every day, consistently.
And, day by day, on apple at a time, create amazing results.
