One Apple A Day #375
“To know what to do” and “to do what you know” are two different things.
I’m very well, but I struggle with the second.
I know discipline is essential to achieve anything in life.
I know that how you do anything is how you do everything.
I know that the environment is more powerful than willpower.
I know that a goal must be SMART to be effective.
I know all these things.
Though, is only when we act on our knowledge that things happen.
Actions give meaning to what we know.
Knowing how to walk is great but only in the actual act of walking that knowledge becomes meaningful.
The problem is that you can acquire more knowledge in various ways: reading, studying, watching a video, talking with someone.
But you can learn to act only through action.
I know I have extraordinary potential.
Like every human being, I’m competent and resourceful.
I feel it in my bones.
I sense it in my blood.
Now I need to learn to walk.
And there is only one way; one step at the time.
Maybe today, I’ll be able to go a bit further.
