One Apple A Day #374
I see you.
Such a simple yet powerful thing to say to someone.
I see you.
There is no judgement in this sentence.
Just the recognition of someone existence.
When I receive an acknowledgement, I feel empowered.
Because I feel that it’s not about the person giving it, as a compliment.
It is about me. About who I am and what I do.
I see you.
Can you think of a more powerful acknowledgement?
Recognising that you are real.
That you’re important just because you exist.
Because you are you.
I see you.
In a world full of visual stimulus.
With billions of people running around.
And plenty of distractions.
In such a world I choose to shut the world out and see you.
Can you think of anything more powerful?
How do you feel when you are seen?
