One Apple A Day #360
Inspiration.
Where do you find inspiration?
What inspires you?
I always thought that inspiration was something coming from outside. Like an ethereal thing floating in the air that sometimes, without any warning, choose to infuse someone with an idea. There wasn’t much I can do but be ready to welcome the inspiration when it comes.
Having set the goals to write five mornings a week, I’m always in need of new ideas. So, I couldn’t rely on my fickle creative muse. I had to find other ways.
What I learned in this process is that being inspired is a state of mind. Ideas are everywhere. Everything, every person, every place around you is a source of inspiration. You just have to observe with wonder and be open so ideas can flow in.
Being inspired is a way of living.
Kids continuously live in this state. They are inspired by everything.
Then, in school, we teach them about efficiency and productivity. We restrain their creativity to transform them into great doers.
How would be school if we add some hours every week to teach them how to be always inspired?
