One Apple A Day #346
Turquoise.
This morning, during my meditation with my eyes closed I saw flashes of light in a shade of blue that reminded me of the colour of tropical seas.
I’m not an expert on colours, so I had to search on Google to find that the name of that colour is turquoise.
I don’t know why I am sharing this. Most of the time in my morning meditation I see dancing lights creating shapes and images before my closed eyes. I believe the effect is somehow due to the light of the sun passing through my eyelids. And my imagination does the rest playing with that light to create dancing figures, shapes of cities, animals, peoples and so on. For a long time, I tried to control this process and force my mind to visualise something specific. It never worked, so I learned that I can’t tame my imagination. I just stay there in the moment, observing what images appear before my closed eyes.
Usually, the images are in various shades going from yellow to red. It’s understandable considering that those are the colours of the morning light.
But this morning it was different. This morning the images dancing before my eyes were turquoise. And I welcomed this new colour.
I have no idea of what it means, but it gave me something to write about. It’s good enough for now.
