One Apple A Day #342
What you do matter.
Also how you do what you do, matter.
You “what” and your “how” define how you show up in the world.
But before them, it’s vital for you to know why.
What is the motivation, the purpose of what you do? What is the meaning behind how you do what you do?
Knowing your purpose allows you to empower your what and how.
But where is this “why” coming from?
I believe the first question to ask yourself, should start with “who”.
Who are you? Who do you want to be?
“The meaning of life, differ from man to man, and from moment to moment. Thus it is impossible to define the meaning of life in a general way."— Viktor Frankl
So, it’s not about finding meaning or purpose to life.
It’s up to you to give a meaning to your life.
Or, as Frankl put it; ”We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life“.
It all started by being aware of who you are.
Being aware doesn’t mean you have to understand or be able to explain.
As long as you are aware of who you are, your self will manifest through your actions. Your who will infuse and align your "why, how and what”.
