One Apple A Day #338
I love to wake up early.
It’s not easy, in particular now that I live in Spain.
But I can’t help falling in love every day for the magic of the sun coming out and kindling a new day.
It’s six in the morning in Valencia.
Most of the city is still asleep, the streets are desert except for some taxis and the few that are forced to start early.
Most of the windows on the buildings around me are dark, but there is someone already up. I can smell the aroma of freshly made coffee in the air.
Have you ever observed the dawn? Anytime I’m amazed by the speed with which the sun comes up. One moment it’s behind the buildings, and only shades of gold are visible beyond the roofs. A few minutes later it is up in the sky spreading his light everywhere.
What I love the most about the dawn is the feeling of renewal.
A brand new day that is coming to life in front of me.
I breathe deeply.
I let all the light to come in with the fresh air.
It’s a new day.
A new opportunity.
I’m so grateful and inspired.
And it’s time for my coffee.
