Indeed, he was the kind of guy that makes things happen. He created a gorgeous family and built a house for it. He started his own company with some friends, they made it grow, and the company is still there even if they are not.
To me, he was just my father.
We didn’t spend much time together in my childhood. I have just a few memories of us together before my teenage years.
My dad was always working.
Doing long hours, six days a week and no holidays.
Working hard was his way of saying that he loved us.
It was his way of being present in our life.
Even if he wasn’t physically there, I always felt that if I really needed him, he would appear and solve any problems.
