One Apple A Day #328
It’s time to pause.
For a week or so, I won’t post any new apple on this blog.
Tomorrow at dawn, I’ll leave the comfort of my ordinary life to walk into the extraordinary.
Literally! I’ll be walking on the mountains for seven days with a group of men.
I’ve been waiting this moment since the beginning of the year when a great friend and fantastic man told me about this possibility.
Apparently, this break comes at the wrong moment. I have a few critical things to close and a few essential items to start and going entirely offline for a full week may seem a silly idea. I won’t be able to use my computer. I won’t be able to answer emails and calls. I won’t be able to seize new opportunities knocking at my “digital” door.
And this is what I need right now.
I realised that in the last week something changed in my attitude, in my mindset. After months focused on my self-realisation, I switched back to the self-preservation mode. And when I am within this mindset, I become reactive.
I run without really moving forward.
So, it’s time for me to pause for a moment.
Take some quality time to look inside and reassess my priorities.
Understand what truly matters to me.
And come back stronger.
