One Apple A Day #321
How do you choose?
When you are facing a decision, what process do you go through?
Is it the same for big and small choices?
I am not very good at deciding, in particular, small things.
Like what to eat or which movie to watch.
If there is someone else, most of the time I follow to avoid deciding.
Or I wait until time solve the doubt. Like waiting until the supermarket are closed, so I have to go with whatever remains in the fridge.
I also struggle with big decisions, like where to live or which job to accept.
But can we really divide small from big decisions?
Everything we do changes the course of history permanently. The point is that we don’t know in which way and most of all we can’t really measure the effects regarding right or wrong.
Last year I was in Athen, and I visited the Acropolis. The famous Parthenon is built on the ruin of a previous temple. For whoever built the previous temple that was a terrible moment. For us, it’s one of the world’s wonders.
I don’t know what I am trying to say today.
Maybe I just want to say myself to take it easy, whatever decision I have to make.
