One Apple A Day #311
Lately, I learned the power of holding the space for people to shine.
One of my challenges, when I meet new people, is that I make assumptions depending on their appearance.
If I like what I see, I’m more open and willing to share.
Nothing major, it’s human behaviour, and I don’t use it to shut the door to anyone.
It just makes me more open to people I find physically attractive.
And this thing annoys me because it makes me miss opportunities. Because the way we appear, our allure, is only partially due to the physical traits or to how we dress up.
A vital component of our beauty is how much of our extraordinary inner self we allow to shine through our body.
Someone shine naturally.
Most of the people keep their extraordinary selves hidden.
They are scared, but the world out there and they protect their extraordinariness.
But when we give them a space where they feel safe, then their extraordinary selves step out into the light.
And they all become beautiful.
In the last months, I had the opportunity to experience the power of a safe space that a circle of human beings can create.
And in those spaces, I saw people transforming before my eyes.
They were all beautiful.
So, this is my intention for this year.
To create and hold the space for everyone to shine and be beautiful.
