One Apple A Day #308
The bells of the small church calling the old ladies to the morning rituals.
The voices of the students walking to the local elementary school.
The dogs barking at them from every gate, like spectators at a parade.
The birds singing their Spring songs.
The blurred sound of traffic rising in the distance.
If I keep my eyes closed, it is as if time never passed.
These are the same sounds I use to hear when I was among those student walking to school.
And later, when I was studying for my exam at the university or when I was preparing to go to work.
The world keeps changing, very fast.
And even the smallest village in the countryside isn’t immune to this continuous transformation.
But if I close my eyes, I can feel the same vibe.
The vibe of home.
