One Apple A Day #296
“If you have a source of trust you can take on more responsibility”.
Trust is coming up often in my self-reflection, lately.
Have you ever asked yourself, what is trust?
According to the dictionary, trust is the “firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something.”
So, trust is similar to love.
It is subjective — I hold the belief — and it has an object — the belief is about someone or something.
Where is my source of trust?
Is it in what I know or in what I experienced?
Is it in what I lived, observed, loved?
Or is it hiding in my successes or failures?
My beliefs come from my past but they instruct my future.
To face the unexplored and the unknown, the truths that I know are not enough.
I need to source my trust from the universe.
