One Apple A Day #291
“I want some serious silliness.”
Have you ever the feeling that we are taking things too seriously?
If we put things in perspective, the history of humanity is nothing more than a tiny fragment of the world’s history.
And my life is nothing more than a blink of an eye in human history.
If it is so tiny, why does it feel so complicated and grave sometimes?
Sometimes we put on our choices so much significance that they become chores. The weight down on our shoulders and they force us to bend our back. If we keep this position for a while, we will get used to seeing only the pavement, and we slowly forget the beauty of the sky above us.
But we can’t go far if we carry so much weight. And we can decide where to go if the only things we can look at, are our feet.
This is why we need the lightness of some serious silliness.
When we play with our choices, and we laugh about them, we lift the weight from our shoulders. We can turn our gaze to the sky and discover new perspectives.
