One Apple A Day #287
“Being creative by being who you are.”
Is there anything more creative than being who we are.
Being authentic is one of the first attitudes that comes to my mind when I think to all the human beings I admire as remarkably creative.
It is not what they created or how they did it that makes them shine.
It is the clarity that connects their what and how to their essence.
To their why and who.
Being who we are is not easy.
Society likes for us to fit and to be aligned with the role and the position we have.
This way we are predictable and everyone knows what to expect from us.
And, most of all, we know what we can expect back.
We know what will be our rewarding.
It is reassuring, but the risk is high.
We may end up forgetting who we are.
We often heard artists talking about what inspires their creativity as if something that comes from outside.
It looks like they can see the world differently from us.
Though, the world is the same.
But the eyes are different.
Inspiration is sourced from the universe.
When the universe connects with the universe outside, inspiration flows.
That connection is possible only when inside and outside are aligned.
When we are, who we are.
