One Apple A Day #275
“Truth is desperately important”.
Indeed, truth is vital. But which truth? Is there a Truth out there or many?
I believe there is at least one truth for every human being in this world.
That accounts for billions of truths. Does this awareness make truth less important?
Wait a minute. I am making one of my typical mistakes, overthinking trusting that my reasoning will lead me to the truth. Here it is, again. That word. So, important and yet so dangerous.
I struggle with the truth. I feel like everyone is trying to sell me his or her truth. Priests, politicians, teachers, gurus. Everyone with the truth that will answer all questions.
I understand. When you know the truth, life is easier. Because the truth solves any problems, clarifies any doubts.
Maybe, this is why I struggle with the truth.
I am a wanderer. I love mystery more than history. I find peace in the unknown.
So, yes. The truth is desperately important.
Because it’s the continuous quest for it that makes me grow.
A quest that will never end. Because every truth is just a shift, a leap into a new quest.
The universe is infinite. Thought, knowing that we will never know it all, never stopped humanity from exploring.
