One Apple A Day #263
This morning I woke up and find that the charger for my laptop was dead. No sign of life, not even the slightest bit of energy flowing in. And yesterday evening I watched a movie on the couch, so the battery is now drained entirely.
Not the beginning of the week I was expecting. However, it is good opportunity to test my resilience.
So, here I am; writing my daily apple on the tablet, without a proper keyboard but with the will share something.
Am I happy? No. Can I fix it? No, I’ll have to wait until shops will open and buy a new one.
Once the situation is clear, I have to options. One is to keep staring at the dead charger swearing against destiny, getting angry for all the things I can’t do. The other is to find alternative ways to do what I want until I can source a new charger or to use this opportunity to do something else.
As I learned from my experience riding a motorcycle, if I keep staring at the obstacle I will hit it, and it will be painful. The best way to protect me and by motorbike is to find a way out and keep my eyes on it.
You can’t remove an obstacle just staring at it; it will only make you mad, pitiful and it will ruin your day. Instead, you must go quickly for a solution, or a workaround and focus on that.
