One Apple A Day #246
I grew up believing that we are all ordinary people. And among us, there are a few that do extraordinary things. Those are the ones we celebrate and remember for their achievement.
But what if we change perspective? What if we are all extraordinary being only most of us do ordinary things? What if the few that we label extraordinary are just the ones who break free of the “ordinary” boundaries and unleash all their extraordinariness?
The final result looks the same; a few people achieve extraordinary results while the majority fumble amidst ordinariness. But the way we relate to ourselves and others changes completely.
If everyone is an extraordinary being, even when conducting an ordinary life than she is worth my full attention. I feel compelled to listen to her carefully to connect with her extraordinariness. I am motivated to always give my best; if he is extraordinary, he deserves my extraordinary self.
I believe that we are all extraordinary beings. Unfortunately, we are often trapped in an ordinary reality by our limiting beliefs. This is a source of frustration and stress. This also may explain why we are the envy of extraordinary people, why we love to gossip and why we try to sabotage everyone trying to step out of the ordinary and into their extraordinariness.
If we start looking at others as the extraordinary beings they are, we may find the way to unleash our full potential to extraordinary.
