One Apple A Day #237
This post is the first apple of 2018. So, even if it is an apple like all the others I wrote, it marks a quite significant moment of the journey.
These daily posts started as a way to improve my writing. The main goal is still the same, improving little by little every day, but the whole project became something more. It is known a kind of public journal. A place where I share my early morning thoughts. And because I give myself only 15 minutes to write each post, I don’t have the time to review and rewrite. So, each post is the raw product of my mind wandering in that liminal space between dreams and daylight.
Like, Today I thought I was going to write on gratitude. I was thinking of the best way to start a new year, and I realise that there is no better way than saying thank you.
There are so many people and places I have to thank. And it is not about looking back with nostalgia. It’s about looking forward with the strength that comes from knowing that it’s not all on our shoulders but that the world is here to help.
Gratitude was the topic for Today. I haven’t written much about it in this post but, in the end, the only words that really matter are “Thank you”.
So, Thank you.
Yes, You.
Thank you for being here and read what I wrote.
Thank you.
