One Apple A Day #213
Sometimes it looks like the world gives us signals.
Small hints that reinforce or weaken our ideas and actions.
A person smiling when we leave for an interview is a sign that you’re going to get a job. On the contrary, if you spill something on your favourite shirt than the world is telling you that you’re probably wasting your time.
They are small hints, invisible to anyone but you. Why is that? Does the world want really to talk only with you? Are you so special?
The answer is yes. The world is always talking to you (and with everyone else) and you are special. You have the superpower to see a unique meaning in everything.
Our mind use filters to understand realities. These filters depend on our inner beliefs, values and emotions.
These filters make you see some things and ignore all the rest.
The world is always talking to you, but you recognise just what your filters allow to reach your conscious mind.
Most of the time we are not aware of these filters, they are activated at the unconscious level. You may think that the world is giving you signals, but it is your unconscious mind that is trying to communicate with you.
And you better listen.
Sometimes you know what you want, but you are not aware of it. It is essential to learn to listen to these signals as they will allow deepening your self-awareness.
