One Apple A Day #206
This morning, we woke up in a new town in a new country.
Moving to a new place generates contrasting emotions; fear and excitement.
And this is how I feel now, sitting on a different couch from the one that witnessed my morning writing for the last two months.
Are we going to find a lovely home for us to live?
Are we going to find new friends?
Will we be able to carry on our projects from here?
So I meditated to relax and calm down.
And it struck me.
How lucky am I to have these worries?
My primary task for the day is finding a good connection.
The typical problem of someone living on the lucky side of the world.
Most of the people in the world are fighting for their survival.
Like me, a lot of them woke up this morning in a new town, in a new country. But unlike me, their fears are real.
With them, they carry only the hope for a better future.
The minimum thing I can do, to respect their strains, is to leave my fears behind, use this opportunity to learn something new, and grow into a better man.
