One Apple A Day #201
Here we are, the first one of a new harvest of one hundred apples.
The first 100 posts were about just everything. Including a lot of short stories and scenes from books that will never exist. The purpose of that first bunch of apples was to set the foundation for this writing journey.
The second phase, the apples from 101 to 200, was me trying to find a direction in this flood of words. A red line to connect all the apples but I didn’t succeed. The posts are still about just everything. Lately, I’ve been using this space to rewrite in English the journal from my last trip to Patagonia. The original blog is here (Andemo.la), but it’s in Italian. This one will give some material for a lot of posts, and I want to complete the work. So, there will be more apples about #patagonia among the next one hundred daily apples.
But I also want to give to this space more value. In the end, this is a space of reflection for me. It is not as refined as the things I post on Medium, but for this reason, it is probably more authentic.
It is imperfect, as I am.
It can be contradictory, as I am.
It has some edges here and there, like me.
Writing here is therapeutic. It makes me more vulnerable somehow, but accepting to be vulnerable and imperfect is my source of strength.
In the next three months, you’ll find here some other stories from the Patagonia’s adventure, maybe some stories about new trips and updates about my inner wandering.
Because not all who wander, are lost.
