One Apple A Day #195
He was a man of a thousand beginnings.
His mind was always busy with something new.
His heart was always falling in love with a new smile.
“The excitement is at the begin of everything, before the routine, before you get comfortable.”
And this was how he lived. At the first sign of routine. As soon as he perceived the smallest sign that the excitement was giving place to something else, he immediately looked around for something new to put his eyes, mind and heart on.
“I burn fast. My small heart beat fast, and I fall in love quickly.”
“Then, why are you sad?” I asked him looking him in the eyes.
He remained silent for a while. His eyes were open, but he wasn’t looking at me.
He was looking inward.
Seeking something hidden behind his collection of beginnings.
After a long time, he walked away without a word.
I thought I upset him and I prepared to leave.
I was on the threshold when he called me.
“I have nothing to hold on.“
