Knowing is not enough.

Even understanding is not enough.

I mean, if I look where we are now as humanity.

I definitely can't say we don't have enough knowledge.

Or that we can't understand things.

Yet, despite all our vast knowledge and high intellect, it looks like we can't help but screw up.

Or maybe, it is because of that?

Maybe that's why we screw things. Because we know and understand a lot. Or at least we believe so while we know so little and understand even less.

It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so. —Josh Billings

The other day, while I was walking home, I wondered about a conversation I had just had about the last war in Ukraine.

In that conversation, we were sharing information and perspectives to understand what was going on.

And then, while walking alone, with some music in my ears, I realised that I don't know and often don't understand.
