To help people source wisdom in themselves.
I noted these words in my notebook a few weeks ago during a conversation with another coach.
We were talking about our work and the magic that happens when our clients - individuals or teams - discover that they already have the answers. They just couldn't see them before.
There is so much wisdom in each one of us and also in the space between us.
Wisdom to which we are largely blind.
Just take our physical body. In our DNA, there are millions of years of evolution; in our muscles, there are memories of abilities we have forgotten. We are capable of doing things without being taught how to do them.
Learning by subtraction is about removing the obstacle that blocks our ability to access this infinite source of wisdom that we are.
