One Apple A Day #1090
I wrote this post and threw it away twice.
Not because I don't know what to say. But because I can't find a way to write it without sounding self-righteous or judgmental.
So, maybe I should just go straight to the point.
Use fewer words and constructs.
Apply subtraction to my writing as I did to everything else while walking along the Narmada.
Most innovations aimed at solving the significant challenges of humanity - climate change, hunger, economic divide - are limited in their impact by the desire to preserve our way of living.
We want to change the whole planet without changing our tiny world.
That’s it.
But it’s hard. I sense the resistance in my body even while I write it.
Yet, more than ever, I feel that subtraction is the only way to create a new world that works for everyone.
And that means turning the look inward.
It means that it all begins with me.
