I always loved the fact that in English, "who" and "how" have the same letters. And there is indeed a strong connection.
One is a mirror of the other.
How you do things is informed by who you are and who you want to become. Who you become is the result of how you do things over time.
It is essential to be aware of who you are, of your uniqueness, so your "how" can be more authentic and powerful.
It is also vital to know who you truly want to become.
Your future self drives your choices and actions. Too often, however, your future self is bound by your conditioning and limiting beliefs. When that happens, who you want to be is replaced by who you should be.
Do you always feel authentic in what you do?
I know that sometimes, I hold back.
As if I'm scared by the person I know I can be.
As a result, I tune down my “how”.
I'm aware of this because there are spaces in which I feel I can fully be myself. And I've seen what I can do when I go there. These are spaces, usually conversations, in which I feel safe. In which I actively practice subtraction. Little by little, I'm peeling off the layers of conditioning that are limiting my true self.
When you remove the conditioning and limiting beliefs through a process of subtraction, who you want to become and who you are meant to be, feel the same.
You feel a sense of destiny and inevitability that gives you new vibrant energy.
An energy that will expand your "how" and shine in everything you do.
