I'm not sure who's the first who said or wrote these words.
"Today is the first day of the rest of your life."
They resurfaced in my mind yesterday for no apparent reason.
Then this morning, I felt they were the best way to start my daily post.
The first apple in this new space.
The first one after the "one thousand" milestone.
The first apple of the rest of my life.
I wrote so many words, and I'm pretty sure I've repeated myself on multiple occasions. Yet, I can't write every apple looking back at the past.
Every time I did it, I felt a sense of heaviness stopping the flow.
So, I do my best to write every post as if it is the first one of a new long sequence.
This way, I can let go of the pressure of being perfect. Being the first of a new long series, it feels more like a prototype, so I'll have plenty of opportunities in the coming days to write something better.
