The greatest mistake you can make in life is continually fearing that you'll make one. — Elbert Hubbard
Making mistakes sucks.
I don't know you, but I don't like making mistakes.
When I make a mistake, I feel wrong, and I loathe feeling wrong.
It's just painful.
Yet, I've learned that anytime I try to avoid making mistakes, I get myself stuck in a rut. And that is a big mistake.
So, I made peace with the fact that I made, I still make, and I will make even more mistakes.
Even more, I've learned to cherish my mistakes.
Sometimes, it's necessary to do something wrong, to find out what's real and what's not, to find out what we feel, to remind ourselves that we are human.
I love this scene from The Bicentennial Man.
