It Feels Like Magic
#2150

It feels like magic.
I came to India with no plans.
No expectations.
Just the joy of being back after a long time, to see old friends.
Like a child exploring new things.
A few days ago, I met one of the leaders of a big institution. A casual conversation through a mutual friend. We got along. Two days later, they invited me into a room I thought I had no business being in and valued my ideas.
Yesterday I messaged a friend in Chennai. Just to say I was here, that I’d love to chat. He asked if I’d meet some of the people he works with. I said yes. Tomorrow I’m giving a talk on readiness to a community of startup founders.
Just like that.
I wonder how often, busy making plans, I miss this. The way things unfold when you stop trying to make them.
I don’t know what today will bring. I haven’t prepared for it.
I’m curious to find out.
Time to play!

Happy for you brother
