In My World
#2056
In my world, people are kind.
In my world, everyone is trustworthy unless they prove otherwise.
In my world, innovation is meant to lift everyone, not to elevate a few over the rest.
In my world, nobody is ever left behind.
In my world, we are nature, and we know it.
In my world, everyone’s uniqueness is a gift.
In my world, we make mistakes. We suffer. And sometimes we create pain.
In my world, we love, and we hate. And we do our best to forgive.
In my world, we are one.
I wanted to write that my world does not exist, but I wanted to give it a possibility to exist by living as if it were real.
But then, as the words appeared on the screen, I realised that my world, indeed, is real.
It’s the world I decide to live in every day.
It’s messy.
Constantly changing.
Often unfathomable.
But it’s human.
It’s my world.
And I love it, no matter what.
“We live in this world when we love it.”—Rabindranath Tagore
