I've been pondering a lot about imagination this week. It is indeed a superpower all human beings are born with.
Imagination is a cognitive activity. One through which we give an image to new ideas or concepts yet to be manifested.
How those ideas or concepts are generated is fundamental.
One primary source is intuition, a supra-mental experience opening the space for new radical meanings. I call this experience illumination. A second source is what we feed to our minds from outside: the information, data and stories we receive through our senses. Our brain then combines these inputs with what is stored in our memories, creating new images for those ideas and concepts.
Taking care of how we feed imagination is vital because our brain does not distinguish between vision and actuality. So, the more we limit and squeeze people's imagination, the less they will be able to manifest in their lives. And we must make sure that there is always enough space for illumination. One way to do that is by engaging in the practices I shared yesterday.
