How may I serve?
I've been holding this question for some time. It emerged while I was trying to define and clarify what I do. Because if you don't know what I do, how will you buy my services?
Then, someone told me about a time when people used to do what was needed. I remembered reading about this inĀ Art Kleiner's The Age of Heretics. He called that world "vernacular," a world where things were made and services were given because someone needed them. Then, things changed. Now, we have to sell what we offer.
I don't know. Maybe that world never existed. Perhaps these are just the ramblings of a man who struggles to clearly define what he has to offer and sell.
But I found myself with this question that keeps coming back. So I thought that maybe I could just ask it.
So, how may I serve you?
You may be facing challenges right now where a fresh perspective might help. You may feel called to create something beautiful. Or perhaps you just need someone to listen or walk with you. You may know someone who could use some support. I don't know, honestly. What I know is that I'm here to serve. With whatever I have, I know, and I am.
