One Apple A Day #914 - how do you want to show up?
I don't want to write this morning.
I woke up late and tired. Plus, my mind is everywhere but here, and I have absolutely no ideas for a post.
It is just one of these mornings when the only thing I'd love to do is dive on the couch and watch funny videos on youtube.
But then I picked a BeTheChange card asking me, "how do I show up every day?"
How do I want to introduce myself to the rising sun?
And the answer was clear.
I want to show up as an author.
I may not be able to write anything worth reading today.
It doesn't matter.
I want to show up as an author.
In The War of Art, Steven Pressfield wrote that "the most important thing about art is to work. Nothing else matters except sitting down every day and trying."
So, here I am, trying.
The outcome can be poor, but every step we make, even the tiniest ones, get us closer to who we are meant to be.
So, how do you want to show up every day?
