AI is disrupting the concept of knowing. The amount of information an intelligent machine can acquire, retain, remember, analyze, deconstruct, recompose, transform and use at incredible speed is beyond what a person can do.
If it wasn't clear already, this is probably the strongest signal it's time to rethink learning.
Learning is less and less about acquiring new skills and knowledge. What truly matters in learning is who you become by acquiring those skills and knowledge. The transformation that happens in you by going through the learning process is way more important than whatever knowledge you can get.
The focus should be on the journey more than on the destination. The real value is there. Students should be in love with the process of learning instead of being focused on getting the outcomes.
And it takes time.
Learning and growing take time.
That's the beauty of it.
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals. — Zig Ziglar
And it's not linear!
