#1430 - It's ok
"It's ok", I told myself this morning while struggling to find something to write about.
When I feel like I can't understand who I am; when I make mistakes; when I'm under pressure; when I feel wrong; when things don't go as I expected; when everything is way more complicated than it should; when I feel like I'm going nowhere; when things are not ok.
I take a breath and tell myself that it's ok.
It's ok to feel lost, overwhelmed, scared, sad, angry or anything else.
The more I resist my feelings, the more I dig myself into a hole, making it harder to get out.
When I catch myself in that downward spiral, I breathe and tell myself, "It's ok".
And it works.
It creates a small opening, a space to focus on what is here and now. And from there, restart.
So, whatever you're going through right now, "It's ok".
