#1412 - a line
There's a line in the image above. A thin straight horizontal line.
What do you think that line does?
You may see a line dividing the space into two halves; one below and one above. A line that marks a threshold or an edge between two areas. So, you can discern what's on one side and the other.
Or you could see a line connecting two areas, one on each end, left and right, of the line. A thread connecting two invisible dots so you can move from one to the other.
You may see a base, like a ground you can build upon.
Who knows, you may see something I can't see.
Yet, it is just a line. Isn't it?
What it is and what we see is different.
I don't know what it is. I can only know what I see.
But if we talk with openness and curiosity, acknowledging the subjectivity of our experience of things, we create the space for a beautiful and creative adventure.
