#1395 - Embrace your inner wiring
Embrace your inner wiring, whatever that may be.
I stole this line from writer and artist Emilie Wapnick's talk on multipotentialites, a word she uses to identify people with a range of interests and jobs over one lifetime. They are also often labelled polymaths or scanners.
Anyway, it's not about them I'd like to write about today.
It's about the power of her invitation to embrace our inner wiring.
I visualize all the invisible circuits inside my brain that define how it operates.
How I operate.
It doesn't define what I can do, achieve or create.
Only how I do it.
That's the beauty of that invitation. It doesn't say anything about what anyone can do. But it reminds us that if we embrace our inner wiring, we may experience less inner resistance and more joy in whatever we do.
Unfortunately, we are used to continuously comparing ourselves with others. We look at successful people with the belief that by doing the same things in the same way, we will achieve the same results.
However, it seldom works.
It's important to find inspiration, insights and ideas in the stories of others. But then we should find a way to adapt those to our inner wiring, not the other way around.
