#1317 - Next time, I'll do better.
If I were superstitious, I would say that today's apple number (13+17) is why I could not complete my writing practice early as usual.
But I'm not. As I wrote yesterday, I made the wrong little choices that mark the difference between getting what I want and not.
What do you do when you fail yourself?
Because skipping or being late for my writing practice is a small thing to the world but quite a defeat for me. Not for the post in itself but for what it means. It reflects a crack in my discipline and commitment to something I love doing that serves me and my purpose above all.
So, here I am, writing between two meetings without properly creating my sanctuary, stopping midway and then restarting again.
Only to get it out there.
Because there will always be bad days.
There will always be stumbles and slips.
They are also part of the journey.
In the end, what really matters is showing up even on those bad days.
Next time, I'll do better.
